About the event
The Swamplover's Preserve is a 433 acre patchwork of wetland and upland natural communities that characterize post-glacial southern WI. Including savannas, oak woodlands, and grassland habitats ranging from dry prairie to wet prairies/ponds, the diverse topography of the preserve supports an even more impressive biological diversity. Now stewarded by the Ice Age Trail Alliance, active adaptive management is evident in the current work along the Ice Age Trails that are open to the public. Snacks and water will be provided.
