About the event

Prairie Spirit Wildlife Sanctuary, owned by John Barnes and Kel Mattice, is located in the rolling topography just south of Verona.  Purchased in 1972 this 200 acre tallgrass and oak/hickory woodland restoration as evolved through dairy/cattle farming, row crops, and pastureland to become a large, diverse grassland system that supports a diversity of native plants and wildlife . Come join us for a tour of this spectacular property.
