Written by former BMAP ecologist Cindy Ramseyer and former president Carroll Schaal, this 60 page book gives landowners an overview of the natural and human history of the region. It then helps readers make the connection between that history and their own property by including materials and resources for recording observations about their property. The book explains how to use those observations along with the landowner's personal goals to create a simple management plan of next steps. The book has been "field tested" in several landowner workshops and has been enthusiastically received by participants.
